Tasting Notes

For tasting notes, we offer up to 5 characterizing notes, and focus on those that should be the most noticeable for the average enthusiast (rather than every possible nuanced tasting note).

  • cocoa
  • coffee
  • pepper spice
  • dry fruit
  • earth

Transitions

The first third is the boldest part of this cigar, introducing itself with some pepper spice. As it transitions into the second third, the cigar reveals delicious cocoa and coffee flavors as the pepper spice dissipates. The final third introduces a bit of dry fruit and cinnamon mixed in with the cocoa and coffee flavors.

Notable Highlights

Overall the cigar is an excellent bold experience by JRE Tobacco (producer of Aladino cigars) without being an overly spicy pepper bomb. As the cigar moves past the first third, the cigar flavor boldness outweighs the strength boldness (exactly what I look for in a great cigar).
