Tasting Notes

For tasting notes, we offer up to 5 characterizing notes, and focus on those that should be the most noticeable for the average enthusiast (rather than every possible nuanced tasting note).

  • dark chocolate
  • cedar
  • coffee bean
  • raisin
  • subtle black pepper

Transitions

The first third is really an explosion of all the tasting notes. The subtle pepper spice reduces going into the second third and the other notes become more prominent.

Notable Highlights

The cigars are purposely aged for a minimum 2 years after being rolled before they are allowed to reach market. Often, these cigars are 3-4 years old by the time they wind up in consumer hands. The aging process allows the original strength to mellow while keeping the abundant flavor profiles in tact for a rich but highly enjoyable experience.

The cigar is crafted by Arturo Fuente cigars for Prometheus.
